Rural Oral Health Disparities
I am interested in increasing dental care to rural communities, to lessen oral health disparities in rural areas. It is important that all groups experience equal access to oral care to promote a greater quality of life.
Dementia Prevention
I am interested in preventing dementia and discovering what factors play a greater role in causing dementia. One factor I am interested in is how and why periodontal disease increases the prevalence of dementia in adults.
